On Course Training will be happy to meet you and discuss your organisational and training needs. We will then design a course or series of courses to meet your requirements. These courses are based on industry standards and are designed to develop staff skills in leadership and management techniques. The courses introduce action learning activities which translate theory into application. These courses can be single day courses or modules running over a number of weeks. Good references can be given.

 

In addition we offer NVQs which will accredit the work that has been done and consolidate the knowledge gained.

 

NVQs

 

Level 2 in Team Leading, raising candidates’ awareness to the importance of motivating and appraising staff and leading by example and monitoring the work flow. This is for supervisors who manage small teams.

 

Level 3 develops these skills, but also includes a requirement to introduce, monitor and update quality assurance procedures.

 

Level 4 is for those who find that the focus of their work is more to do with managing projects or technical matters rather than people and have responsible for innovating and designing processes and procedures.

 

Level 5 is for those who manage other managers

 

Train to Gain government funding available subject to eligibility. This is  more likely to be for Level 2 candidates in Team Leading. See funding criteria.
